Euro Performer Mia Split Passes Away at 23

BUDAPEST — European performer Mia Split has passed away in Budapest at 23 on Friday, according to reports by industry friends and associates.

A message allegedly from Split circulated among those close to her indicated that she had taken her own life.

An athlete and gymnast with a passion for sport pole dancing, Split began in the industry in 2019 and was a Best New Starlet nominee at the 2020 XBIZ Awards.

Her iafd page lists over 70 titles for studios such as Evil Angel, LetsDoeIt, MetArt, Nubiles and Private.

Split, who identified herself as gay and had been married to a woman, had recently expressed increased frustration about both the treatment of LGBTQ+ people in her native Russia, where she could not love or return, she said, “without being condemned,” and about labor and social discrimination of anti-war Russians like herself in the rest of Europe.

The note circulated among her close colleagues called the Green Bridge in her adoptive home of Budapest her “favorite place in the world,” and singled out the adult industry and some of her fellow performers for making feel welcome.
