Carnal Media Signs Bastian Karim as Exclusive Talent

MINNEAPOLIS — Carnal Media has signed international performer Bastian Karim as its newest Carnal Exclusive.

The reigning XBIZ Europas Gay Performer of the Year will debut on CarnalPlus for BoysForSale. In 2024, Karim will also headline a new website addition to CarnalPlus.

“Becoming an actor was my first goal when I was 17. I dreamed about it,” Karim explained. “I wanted creative and financial freedom, and I’m so happy with my decision, as I love my job and can’t imagine doing anything else.”

The Colombian-born performer moved to Spain, where he has lived for the past four years, and found it was a natural fit, “because they speak Spanish too,” he added. “I had to start a new life in a new country and be away from my family to follow my dreams, but now Spain is my home.”

In 2017, Karim launched his career shooting for BoyFun in Prague, where he lived for two years after unsuccessful first attempts in Spain. “I was in a bar in Prague drinking beer and someone asked me about doing porn,” he said. “I thought it was a joke because everyone in Spain had said no, no, no… I wasn’t the typical Colombian guy with big muscles and tattoos and was constantly told I was not what they were looking for.”

From there, Karim began working more and more frequently with other European studios. In addition to performing, Karim said he is interested in the technical side of the business as well.
